Monday

It’s been five years since I’ve worked in an office. There are definitely times when I wonder what my life would be like if I had a “traditional” job. Once my job day dreaming is over I remind myself the grass is not always greener. There might be a few things being in an office would provide me, but one thing is for sure it wouldn’t allow me to play golf on a Monday with friends.

I was so grateful to be able to spend a beautiful Monday afternoon playing golf at the Malibu Country Club with Justin Willman, James Galea and Scott Flansberg. All three friends are incredible people, wonderful entertainers, and great golfers. I was just happy to be included in the four some.

Will I ever have an office job again? Maybe. Until that time comes, or doesn’t, there are far worse ways to spend a Monday afternoon than hanging with friends and playing golf in Malibu. I also played golf Tuesday afternoon. : )

I LoVE my journey!

Gogobot contest

I made an audition video to win my own Gogobot travel website documentary. I didn’t win the contest, but I love the video I made. It’s a great look at what I’ve been doing for the past year and what I’m creating going forward. With or without Gogobot My Grateful Journey continues.

Tongariro Crossing

While traveling around the North Island of New Zealand on the Stray Bus I had the chance to do the Tongariro Crossing 19.4K (12 miles). Hiking passed active volcanos and beautiful lakes. It was beyond epic! There’s a reason this is one of the top 10 hikes in the world.

Drafting Sheep

One of the cool and unique stops the Stray Bus makes is at Blue Duck station in Whakahoro, New Zealand. Blue Duck is working cattle and sheep farm set on over 5,000 acres. I learned the ropes on drafting sheep.
